How To Use iPhone With Broken Buttons

So as many of you are likely aware, iPhones suffer from broken home buttons where it takes several clicks for it to actually register or refuses to work outright. Assistive touch is a hidden gem incorporated into iOS for many users. Head over to Settings > General > Accessibility > AssistiveTouch and enable it. This will put an overlay icon on your phone with buttons for home, volume, lock and more! Also if you are running a jailbroken iOS device you can head over to cydia and pick up 'Zephyr', this is a tweak I use everyday without fail to use a custom slide up from the button gesture to close the current app, and the same gesture on the home screen opens the app switcher. Again, this tweak would be especially useful for someone that has issues with the home button.
