iOS 6.1 Beta 5 Released & Untethered Jailbreak News!

iOS 6.1 will bring untethered jailbreak to all devices
Today Apple has released a fifth public beta to the developer centre of iOS 6.1. This comes with some minor changes, including greater Apple Maps integration and some changes to the lockscreen music controls, as well as now being able to purchase movie tickets through Siri. This comes as interesting news as many people feel that Apple are on the brink of releasing the full software update to all compatible iOS devices. Well not quite, as it seems Apple want to release another beta before doing so. As soon as iOS 6.1 beta 5 dropped, some interesting information surfaced from the hacking community about the beta, stating that it in fact wasn't a beta at all.

So what does this all mean for jailbreaking? Well if you haven't been following the twitter hype, jailbreak hackers such as Pod2g and Planetbeing are suggesting that the untethered jailbreak for the iPhone 5 will be dropped very soon after the release of the public iOS 6.1 build.
